One Hundred Years of Patterson Weddings
A special edition of “The Gateway” re-publishes wedding notices, originally published in the Patterson Irrigator, from 1911 to 2011.
The first wedding published in the Patterson Irrigator on 11/2/1911 was the marriage of Miss Julia Ethel Rouse, aged 16 years, to Victor Emmanuel Slatten, aged 23 years. All of the weddings published since then were wedding notices as reported through the next century.
